participate in release of reserves in a crisis situation,
participate in implementation of agreements, including overseeing the quality and quantity of food reserves in warehouses,
conduct market research for ongoing tender procedures;
tasks related to control functions with the aim to verify and assess the performance of contracts entered into with the Agency for storing and maintaining strategic reserves as well as performance of statutory obligation to create and maintain compulsory stocks of crude oil or its fuels.
The MRA regional branches constitute:
the Regional Branch no. 1 in Katowice with its territorial scope of: małopolskie, podkarpackie and śląskie voivodships,
the Regional Branch no. 2 in Lublin with its territorial scope of lubelskie, mazowieckie and świętokrzystkie voivodships,
the Regional Branch no. 3 in Olsztyn with its territorial scope of: podlaskie, pomorskie and warmińsko-mazurskie voivodships,
the Regional Branch no. 4 in Poznań with its territorial scope of: kujawsko-pomorskie, łódzkie and wielkopolskie voivodships,
the Regional Branch no. 5 in Szczecin with its territorial scope of: lubuskie and zachodniopomorskie voivodships,
the Regional Branch no. 6 in Wrocław with its territorial scope of: dolnośląskie and opolskie voivodship.
