The Material Reserves Agency fulfills the tasks in the area of reserves management of raw materials, materials, medical products and medical articles as well as agricultural products, semi-finished and finished food products.

The Agency also maintains stocks of crude oil and petroleum products and it supervises compulsory stocks of crude oil and fuels.
